Basic education allows children to live a better, more productive life, and increases their choices and opportunities for the future. In the long term, if vulnerable children acquire skills and training, they will be in a better position to support themselves and their families
Education is a strong driver for sustainable community development. We give scholarships and scholastic materials to financially disadvantaged children living in rural areas of Eastern and Northern Uganda. We support out school vulnerable children to return to school. Older vulnerable children are enrolled in non-formal education/ vocational training. Teachers are trained in ways to support enrollment, retention and achievement of needy children in school through our institutional support projects.
We engage Community members in sensitization meetings to promote education for Orphans and other vulnerable Children (OVC). Village Hope International promotes and support formal education for children with special needs. We achieve this by linking them to Special needs Schools and also providing them with life support gadgets to enable them stay in school.
