Good health is the physical, mental and emotional well being of a person. Children need to have access to preventive care such as immunization, as well as treatment of illness. Orphans and other Vulnerable Children who lack an adult caregiver receive less attention when sick and miss out on health services.
Our primary healthcare program starts with attaching an adult care giver to every orphan and or vulnerable child. This is followed by routine sensitization projects which cover salient topics such as; promotion of personal hygiene, Nutrition, maintaining proper home environment, home based management of common childhood diseases, and HIV/AIDS sensitization, prevention and care. We link needy children to Health centers and hospitals for management of health complications like epilepsy, vision impareness and physical disability. We supply sanitary ware materials to adolescent girl children. Children with noticed symptoms of mal nutrition are given high nutritional food stuffs each month.
