One of every five children in Uganda is in especially difficult circumstance and most of them are between 6 and 15 years of age. Faced by high levels of poverty, HIV/AIDS, and domestic violence, many Ugandan families are finding it too difficult to independently meet the basic needs of their Children. As our response to the global call to join hands and promote the rights of underprivileged children in the World, Village Hope International provides and promotes opportunities to access healthcare, educational and psycho-social support to the vulnerable children in Uganda. Our healthcare, Education and faith based programs are strategically tailored to promote and provide opportunities that improve their lives into responsible young adults.
Village Hope International also promotes communities whose individuals and institutions participate in valuing, protecting and advancing the worth and rights of children. Our strength lies in our deep understanding of children`s experiences of deprivation, exclusion and vulnerability.
